Our production processes comprise of Cane production, Sugar production,Cogenaration and production of Molasses.Cane farming accounts for 80% of the production of farm produce in the sugar zone. This provides 90% of the cane used as raw material in MSC. Only 10% is produced by our Nucleus. The cane is used to produce the primary product of Mumias Sugar. The company currently produces 13MW of electricity of which 2.2MW is contributed to the national grid. The Cogeneration project will increase the production capacity to 35MW.
